Why Music?
We chose to focus our Digital Humanities project on the relationship between music and mental health because of music’s prevalence throughout our daily lives. Our team shares a strong appreciation for music and its ability in improving our moods, helping us stay focused during studying, and fostering community. With several studies claiming a strong connection between music and emotional well-being, we were interested in exploring how different types of music may influence emotional state and mental disorders.
